Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Gateway Behavioral Health Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individualized therapy strategies and conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' unique needs.

• Implementing a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all clients.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive client care and mental health management.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development via workshops, trainings, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing a diverse patient base.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be given preference:

Compensation and Benefits\n
