Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide continuous consultation to ensure clients receive the appropriate care.

• Engage in timely documentation as per regulatory standards, ensuring compliance while actively managing client records.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as guided by the clinical team to accurately assess client needs and progress.

• Collaborate with fellow professionals to create effective positive behavior support plans that align with clients’ goals.

• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation initiatives, contributing to the clinic's operational excellence.

• Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, promoting integrated and comprehensive care.

• Establish and foster relationships with local, state, federal, and private entities to enhance program visibility and secure potential funding sources.

• Participate in professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings to enhance your expertise.

• Promote the agency’s mission and values through daily interactions and engagements within the community.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with the mission and goals of the Veterans Behavioral Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our clinic, you will primarily serve veterans, their families, and other community members in need of mental health support. Our clients often face challenges related to trauma, substance use, and other behavioral health issues, and they require understanding and tailored interventions to facilitate their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is required to ensure professional competency and adherence to best practices.

• Active LMHC License from the state board, demonstrating your qualifications to practice independently and provide therapeutic support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
