This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining regular business operations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs, formulating tailored treatment plans that align with their specific challenges and goals.

• Deliver effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, as well as group and family sessions, utilizing diverse methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant approaches.

• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals in the community to provide a holistic approach to client care, ensuring every client receives coordinated support tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and empathetic support for clients experiencing acute distress, employing crisis techniques and de-escalation strategies to stabilize situations effectively.

• Engage actively in community outreach programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental illness through educational initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our community center serves a diverse population, including individuals from varying ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an independent and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting therapeutic relationships with clients from all walks of life.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to respond to the diverse needs of our clientele.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in community settings.

• Experience working with diverse populations or specialized populations, such as LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, or those experiencing socio-economic challenges.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital therapy tools is a plus.
