Our recruiting firm is seeking a Logistics Specialist on behalf of a leading Fortune 50 retail organization known for its extensive supply chain operations, innovative fulfillment strategies, and large-scale creative production environments. This role supports logistics coordination, delivery management, project tracking, and cross-functional communication to ensure materials, assets, and equipment are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects while collaborating with a variety of partners and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Job Description
As a Logistics Specialist, you will support logistics operations by coordinating deliveries, managing project communications, tracking progress, and ensuring the successful movement of materials and assets. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain schedules, provide status updates, and support ongoing logistics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Support logistics communications across multiple platforms, including collaboration, planning, email, and document management tools.
• Maintain and update project tracking systems to reflect current project status and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to clarify project requirements and ensure proper handling and execution of requests.
• Monitor and update project information across multiple systems to maintain accurate records.
• Assist with route planning, delivery scheduling, and coordination between partners.
• Track delivery progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders, delivery teams, and management.
• Support the development and improvement of logistics scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmation processes and tools.
• Coordinate the distribution of materials, assets, and equipment throughout the facility while maintaining accurate tracking records.
• Assist with staging, organizing, and managing inventory, project assets, and equipment.
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly logistics activities to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain operations, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience using digital communication and project management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience operating material handling equipment, such as a forklift.
• Prior experience supporting logistics, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, or production environments.
• Knowledge of route planning, delivery coordination, and shipment tracking processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, Outlook, Slack, or similar collaboration and project tracking tools.
• Project management or logistics coordination experience within a large-scale organizational environment.
