Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake interviews to understand clients’ backgrounds and mental health concerns.

• Design personalized treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs and goals, implementing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions through a virtual platform, focusing on effective communication and engagement techniques tailored for online settings.

• Monitor clients’ progress, providing feedback and adjustments to treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educate clients on coping strategies, resources, and interventions to manage stress, trauma, and relational challenges.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to streamline client care, referring clients to specialists as needed for comprehensive support.

• Document all session notes and case management details in a secure electronic health record system to maintain compliance and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing challenges such as grief and loss, marital conflicts, substance abuse, mental health disorders, job stress, and issues related to blended families and divorce. The clients served are diverse, representing various backgrounds and experiences, allowing for a rich therapeutic practice environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• An active and valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of teletherapy practices and the ability to build rapport with clients in a virtual context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
