We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at Vitality Empower Physical Therapy located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Our facility spans an impressive 5000 square feet and is equipped with the latest sports medicine technology to support a robust variety of physical therapy interventions. As a PT-owned practice, our mission is to empower individuals through comprehensive physical therapy solutions that focus on prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

Our friendly and collaborative onsite work environment offers the perfect setting for experienced professionals to thrive. You will work alongside a supportive team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering an atmosphere of learning, growth, and exceptional patient care. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize individual patient goals and needs through comprehensive assessments, ensuring customized care.
• Manage a patient caseload, facilitating one-on-one treatment sessions effectively with a focus on holistic care.
• Provide evidence-based treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical function.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique rehabilitation journey.
• Reduce reliance on medications through targeted therapies and functional training while advocating for non-invasive alternatives to surgical interventions.
• Motivate and empower patients to engage fully in their treatment, fostering a commitment to their health and wellness.
• Document all patient care services meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to enhance patient results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, benefiting a diverse patient population that includes athletes recovering from injuries, seniors seeking to improve their mobility, and individuals undergoing rehabilitation post-surgery. Your role as a Physical Therapist will directly impact their recovery, enhancing their quality of life through tailored therapy approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board violations.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in improving patient outcomes through innovative treatment methods.
• Ability to engage patients and families effectively, enhancing their understanding and compliance in the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
