College of Business Administration Cal Poly Pomona's College of Business Administration, including theSingelyn Graduate School of Business, serves over 5,000undergraduate and graduate students. All programs are accredited bythe Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) -a distinction earned by only 6% of business schools worldwide.Notably, the college, along with three other CSU campuses, holds aseparate AACSB accreditation for its accounting program, placing itamong the elite 3% of institutions globally with both business andaccounting accreditations. Department of International Business & Marketing The IBM Department is one of six academic departments within theCPP College of Business Administration, which serves more than6,000 students. The department enrolls approximately 1,300 majors,including about 900 students pursuing one of six career tracks inmarketing management and 400 students specializing in areas ofinternational business. IBM faculty hold doctoral and master's degrees in their respectivedisciplines and are actively engaged in scholarly research,teaching innovation, and professional service. They regularlypublish in well-respected, peer-reviewed journals and present theirwork at academic and professional conferences. The Position The temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions arefilled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding.Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on shortnotice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends inmid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends inmid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer Sessions mayalso be available. Required Qualifications A Master's degree in Marketing, InternationalBusiness or related disciplines in the field relevant tothe curriculum or related discipline. Strong oral and written business communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience at the college or university leveland ability to furnish evidence of strong teaching in eitherMarketing Management or International Business. Prior experience and track record of career advising, careercoaching and training. Salary and Benefit Information Initial rank and salary for lecturer faculty are based onprofessional experience and educational background and aredetermined by the hiring department. Initial appointments are forone semester only. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthlybase salaries indicated above are prorated to the number of unitsworked and are paid in six monthly payments for each fullsemester. Most new appointees are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank andplaced at the beginning of the range. Anticipated hiring rangedepending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month.
