Six-month co-op in the Tax Department supporting global tax accounting, compliance, and planning activities. The role involves assisting with US federal, state, and local tax provisions, return filings, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support quarterly global tax provision processes and gather tax-related disclosure information
- Prepare data for federal and state income tax return filings with third-party consultants
- Track and respond to state and local corporate income tax notices
- Assist in gathering documentation for US federal and state corporate income tax audits
- Evaluate processes and technology to identify continuous improvements and automation opportunities
Requirements
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting; taxation or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate project status and meet internal deadlines
- US work authorization; no sponsorship available
- Full-time availability January–June 2027; enrolled in advanced degree if graduating before June 2027
Compensation: $20.00–$32.00 USD/hour
