Lead Cook Lead with Heart in a Mission-Driven Kitchen

At Sunrise Senior Living, we champion the quality of life for all seniors. As a Lead Cook, you coordinate daily food production while ensuring meals meet quality, portion, and service standards. You help guide kitchen operations to deliver safe, consistent dining experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and coordinate meals using standardized recipes and posted menus
- Support daily shift supervision in absence of Executive Chef or Dining Service Coordinator
- Ensure proper portioning, plate presentation, and dietary modifications
- Maintain accurate production sheets and temperature logs
- Monitor food storage, rotation (FIFO), and inventory controls
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Maintain clean, organized kitchen and work areas
- Support compliance with federal and state regulations
You play a key role in food quality, regulatory compliance, and kitchen efficiency.

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
