Accounts Payable Specialist

This role focuses on processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily accounts payable operations while ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process electronic and check payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accounts payable records and documentation
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries professionally
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely disbursements
• Maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, administration, customer service, or related roles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
