Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status through virtual sessions, employing evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address goals such as coping with anxiety, managing depression, overcoming substance abuse, and navigating eating disorders.

• Provide regular therapeutic sessions, utilizing a mix of individual and group therapy techniques, to support clients in developing coping strategies and achieving personal growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care, including making referrals to other healthcare professionals when additional support is needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the EHR system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and legal guidelines.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong de-escalation techniques and judgment to navigate challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will work with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders, and disordered eating. The diverse demographic you will serve includes adults, adolescents, and possibly families, providing you with the opportunity to enhance your cultural competence and adaptability in therapy practices.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and culturally responsive methodologies.

• Proficient using electronic health record systems and various office software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
