This role offers the flexibility of telehealth, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your home while fully engaging with clients through virtual sessions. Our practice supports a healthy work-life balance with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to design customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and the importance of self-care.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Work seamlessly with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care that encompasses all aspects of patient health.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health to continually enhance treatment methods and practices.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to refine your clinical skills.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting understanding and de-stigmatization of mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus primarily on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression and bipolar disorder. You will provide support to a diverse clientele, honoring their unique backgrounds and experiences while fostering a safe space for therapeutic growth. By employing empathetic listening and culturally competent practices, you will facilitate healing and progress in your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Extensive knowledge and skills in evidence-based treatment methodologies geared towards mood disorders.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the clinical capacity to collaborate with psychiatrists effectively.

• A proven history of successful outcomes in therapy for mood-related issues.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills that enable you to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote therapy sessions will be advantageous. Additional specialization or certifications in therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
