This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors to conduct assessments and therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients by evaluating their mental and emotional status to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s circumstances, involving coping strategies and therapeutic interventions.

• Actively listen to patients as they share their experiences and challenges, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in regular communication with patients, creating a rapport built on trust and openness to enhance their receptiveness to therapy.

• Facilitate educational sessions for both staff and patients on trauma-informed care and effective coping mechanisms.

• Identify and coordinate with external agencies and community resources to connect patients with additional support services.

• Complete ongoing professional development activities, including continuing education requirements, to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Qualifications\n
