Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their specific needs and formulate personalized treatment goals for those seeking substance use disorder interventions.

• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans, employing various therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, tailored to individual client profiles.

• Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions that not only address psychological aspects but also motivate clients toward recovery.

• Lead group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for mutual sharing and healing, where clients can connect and learn from one another's experiences.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and seamless care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction recovery methods, coping strategies, and available community resources that aid in the recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment in compliance with legal and ethical regulations, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.

• Participate in continuous professional development initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, and staying informed about the latest advancements in addiction treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals dealing with substance use disorders, offering tailored therapeutic intervention aimed at facilitating recovery. This role also involves collaborating with families, helping them understand addiction and support their loved ones through the recovery process, which is a crucial aspect of our holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Mandatory current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong foundation in the principles of substance use disorders, along with an in-depth understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in addiction recovery settings.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic demeanor when working with clients.

• The ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing supportive care and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.

• Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) and various computer applications to facilitate documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
