Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement individualized support plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and academic stress.

• Conduct thorough assessments through interviews and standardized tools, identifying students’ strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs to inform personalized intervention strategies.

• Set measurable goals for each case and continuously monitor students' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective support.
\n
• Provide evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions during sessions while educating families about the recommended courses of action.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation of interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports to track client outcomes and facilitate communication with educational staff.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights to develop cohesive support strategies and ensuring that interventions align with educational objectives.

• Assist in legal matters by preparing reports and providing expert testimony in court, when necessary, ensuring the best interests of the student are represented.

• Facilitate referrals to appropriate community services, enhancing students' pathways to recovery and support outside of school.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at White Valley, you will work primarily with K-12 students who present a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your expertise will be vital in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, recognizing and addressing the unique cultural and socio-economic factors that may impact their mental health and educational performance.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, Sociology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong understanding of social work theories, ethical practices, and counseling methodologies applicable to school settings.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to establish trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

• Availability to undergo background checks and comply with mental health regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing social work services in educational environments or with children and adolescents.
