Do you have contracts and leadership experience? California Energy Commission is hiring a Contracts Manager in the Financial Management Branch of the Administrative & Financial Management Services Division. The state classification for this exciting leadership opportunity is Supervisor I . Our Contracts Manager will be the supervisor for the Contracts Unit to oversee the professional staff who administer contract agreements. The Contracts Manager will also act as the subject matter expert for questions and issues related to non-IT services contracts, and act as an in-house consultant to determine the applicability of funding sources. CEC is leading the state to a 100 percent clean energy future for all. As the state's primary energy policy and planning agency, the Energy Commission is committed to reducing energy costs and environmental impacts of energy use while ensuring a safe, resilient, and reliable supply of energy. Desirable Qualifications Negotiate high-value, high-risk contracts in alignment with legal, financial, and policy requirements. Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure agreements are aligned with commission-wide policies and procedures. Facilitate the full lifecycle of contracting initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate execution of agreements. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers as a valued business partner. Contracts and procurement.
