About the Role The D&S (Development & Standards) department is responsible for product development and maintenance of auxiliary systems for medium‑sized gas turbines. We are expanding and seeking a manager for the process engineering group 1, responsible for Air Intake, Acoustic enclosures, CFD, Gas/Fire Detection, and Fire extinguishing systems. Snapshot of Your Day Start the morning with an alignment meeting to review yesterday’s work and today’s challenges. Attend gate or review team meetings related to product development or resource planning. Participate in strategy discussions on next‑generation engineering system tools. Collaborate with managers on tool introduction. Check in with your team to follow up progress and group strategy. Attend project pipeline meetings to review the product development portfolio. Handle final communications such as specialist nomination approvals. How You’ll Make an Impact Develop team and processes, creating a world‑class working environment and securing a successful future. Define and drive business strategies aligned with departmental objectives and vision. Contribute to the setup of the future process engineering department. Support system development of our engineering tools landscape, ensuring alignment with our PLM vision. Attend product‑related gate and design reviews, ensuring high standards and compliance. Conduct resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right competencies are available for upcoming projects. What You Bring Strong leadership skills with significant experience in leading people and teams. A positive attitude and a proactive, can‑do mindset, combined with the ability to make decisions and drive things forward. A strategic business approach and a good understanding of gas turbine technology and our products. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across various functions and teams. Strong drive and organisational skills, with the ability to see the complete picture. Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is beneficial. About the Team Your department will consist of approximately 9 employees (plus temporary workers and colleagues in India).
