Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Holistic Health PT Clinic in Brandon, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with patients, serving as a trusted partner in their journey to regain optimal range of motion and overall physical health. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatment that encompasses intervention, diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation, ultimately ensuring that each patient achieves the highest possible quality of life.

Work Environment

As a member of our onsite team, you will collaborate closely with other professionals, creating a holistic approach to patient care. Your work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for work-life balance while dedicating ample time for patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' goals and physical therapy needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Manage a caseload of patients, providing one-on-one therapy sessions to optimize their recovery.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific conditions and objectives.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance mobility and function.
• Educate patients on exercises and approaches to minimize reliance on medications and prevent the need for surgical intervention.
• Document all patient care services accurately and thoroughly in compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans when necessary to achieve maximum progress.
• Encourage a proactive approach among patients to promote healthy lifestyle choices, improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate as needed with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, focusing on their personal goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Holistic Health PT Clinic, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Our clients vary from athletes seeking to enhance their performance to seniors aiming to maintain their independence and mobility. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges, allowing you to apply your expertise in customized, outcome-driven care.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in assessment and treatment methodologies, including manual therapy techniques.
• Experience with evidence-based practice, familiar with utilizing EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Ability to create and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills, effectively interacting with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
