Work Environment

You will primarily work onsite in patients' homes, allowing for convenient and personalized treatment in familiar settings. This home-based work environment fosters strong relationships with patients and provides the opportunity to observe and address mobility challenges in real-life scenarios. The position requires flexibility, as you will manage your schedule to align with patients' needs, while still collaborating with the Serenity Motion Therapy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify their mobility goals and create effective treatment strategies.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized attention.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patient movement and reducing pain, while encouraging independence.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Motivate patients during each session to facilitate engagement and optimize their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Provide educational resources to patients and family members to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Advocate for the reduction of medication reliance by offering alternative non-invasive treatment options.
• Take part in team meetings and case reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population comprises a diverse range of individuals needing orthopedic rehabilitation, from post-surgery patients to those with chronic pain or mobility impairments. Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Holds a valid and clean state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on professional record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing personalized fitness and wellness programs targeted at diverse patient needs.
