Business Development Manager Weymouth MassWe are a leading manufacturer of switching, monitoring, and control solutions for the power industry, serving utility, industrial, and defense markets worldwide. We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Representative/Manager to help expand our market presence and drive revenue growth across domestic and international markets.Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing sales channels, and building strong customer relationships within the power generation and distribution industries.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities within utility, industrial power, data center, transportation, and power generation marketsExpand and strengthen sales channels in both existing and emerging marketsDevelop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, distributors, and industry partnersManage sales opportunities and coordinate internal resources to support successful project executionRepresent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade showsTravel extensively to support business development initiatives and customer engagementSupport additional sales and organizational initiatives as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, or related field preferred5–7+ years of sales and business development experience within the utility or power industryStrong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering and technical teamsExperience with utility electrical power systems and related components highly preferredExcellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic sales skillsFamiliarity with quality systems, ISO standards, CRM/ERP systems, and sales reporting tools preferredWork Environment: Primarily office-based with travel requirements of approximately 50%. Must be able to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
