Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our outpatient office in Middletown, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' orthopedic conditions and physical capabilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct hands-on therapies designed to improve patients' range of motion and functional mobility through the use of evidence-based interventions.
• Promote non-invasive alternatives to surgery by reducing reliance on medication while encouraging holistic approaches to pain management.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjust treatment plans, and maintain clear communication with both patients and the healthcare team.
• Educate patients on exercises and treatments to foster independence and responsibility for their recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, contributing to a culture of learning and excellence within the department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve are individuals dealing with a variety of orthopedic issues ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will engage with a diverse demographic, including active adults, seniors, and athletes, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your role will be vital in developing personalized care strategies that empower patients on their recovery paths, addressing factors such as strength, flexibility, and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to assess and implement effective exercise protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation and tracking progress.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 in addition to performance-based bonuses.
