Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other evidence-based practices.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and preferences, ensuring that plans are tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Assess clients' emotional and mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations to accurately identify areas requiring intervention.

• Provide crisis intervention during urgent situations, offering immediate support to clients in distress and connecting them with appropriate resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records to comply with legal and ethical standards while supporting coordinated care.

• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay current with licensure requirements and participate in continuing education seminars to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

The individuals and families you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, each with distinct challenges ranging from relationship issues and family dynamics to personal trauma and mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Georgia.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients and facilitate therapeutic dialogue.

• Demonstrated ability to work empathetically with couples and families from various backgrounds, respecting their unique perspectives and experiences.

• Proven experience in providing individual, couples, and family therapy, particularly with complex familial issues.

• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a community setting or health clinic.
