Sanitation Supervisor – 3rd Shift | Food ManufacturingLocation: Bedford Park, ILCompensation: $95,000–$110,000OverviewAn established food processing company in the southern region of Chicago is in need of a skilled sanitation supervisor for managing sanitation operations during the third shift.This position requires a hands-on approach. The supervisor must be actively involved on the production floor, embodying the collaborative and participative culture of the team.What the Role EntailsManage and supervise the sanitation team on the night shift within a large food processing facilityEnsure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and regulatory standardsPromote accountability and consistency by actively engaging with the team on the production floorCoordinate cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and equipment protocolsCollaborate with production and quality departments to maintain sanitation standards while maximizing efficiencyTrain, mentor, and develop team members on safety procedures and standardsMaintain accurate records of sanitation activities and complianceRequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 7 years in sanitation leadership; high school diploma or GED is mandatoryMinimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is essentialPrior experience in sanitizing processes within a food manufacturing environment is a mustStrong managerial skills with a hands-on approach to floor operationsWillingness to work consistently on the night shiftExcellent communication skills and ability to lead with clarity and accountability
