Litigation Associate

Job Title: Litigation Associate Job ID: 88544 Location: Los Angeles, California Overview: Our client is seeking a talented 4th - 5th year Litigation Associate to join their Commercial Litigation group in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing key phases of complex, high-stakes commercial disputes, including those involving brand and reputational matters. This includes handling written and document discovery; conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, pleadings, and dispositive and non-dispositive motions; taking and defending depositions; assisting with witness preparation; and supporting all aspects of trial preparation and strategy. Strong analytical, writing, and case management skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with partners and clients. What you must have:

• Candidates must be admitted to the California bar.
• Have outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comparable law firm and/or clerkship experience preferred.
• Experience conducting discovery, researching, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, witness preparation, and taking/defending depositions.
• Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.
