Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience in medical malpractice defense to join a growing litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through trial while working in a collaborative and flexible environment.Key Responsibilities
- Handle medical malpractice defense cases from initial assignment through trial.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings and make court appearances.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage discovery and prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 1-4 years of medical malpractice defense litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while working collaboratively with a team.
