Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and current teaching license for Special Education
• Experience supporting students in settings ranging from early childhood through grades 12
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive teaching strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to create a nurturing, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages learning for all

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs to address unique needs for students in elementary, middle, or high school
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to promote inclusion and accessibility
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Engage families as partners in the educational process and provide regular updates
• Support social-emotional development alongside academic achievement
