Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current, active teaching license in Special Education
• Experience or comfort adapting curriculum and instruction for a range of age groups (Early Childhood through Grades 12)
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, encouraging environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
• Dedication to advocating for students with varying academic and behavioral needs
• Flexibility and willingness to work in different school settings as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions for students as outlined in IEPs
• Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum for students with a variety of learning abilities
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and regularly update goals to ensure student advancement
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to create comprehensive support plans
• Maintain regular communication with families to celebrate achievements and address concerns
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development, and school-based activities as required
