Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, to determine health conditions and formulate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians in surgical procedures, providing assistance in the operating room and managing pre- and post-operative consultations.
• Perform daily rounding within hospital settings, documenting patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Facilitate communications regarding patient discharges and hospital admissions with nursing staff, ensuring smooth transitions of care.
• Provide detailed pre-operative instructions and patient education to alleviate patient concerns and inform them about their surgical procedures.
• Utilize clinical expertise to analyze patient data and update care plans in accordance with state laws and institutional guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous records to support clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a PA at Integrative Health Centre is directly focused on enhancing the surgical experience and outcomes for patients across diverse demographics. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant, along with board certification.
• Possession of a DEA license to prescribe medications.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification within 12 months of hiring to enhance trauma care capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, particular benefits if experience includes surgical or hospital medicine.
• Experience as a first assistant in the operating room, especially with laparoscopic and robotic surgery, will be viewed favorably.
• A proactive attitude towards ongoing learning, improvement of practice flow, and superb patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000 yearly, commensurate with experience. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
