Work Environment\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at West Valley Psychotherapy Center, you will work entirely within a telehealth setting, allowing you to effectively reach clients in the comfort of their own homes. This remote work model not only expands our reach but also promotes work-life balance for our employees. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs of patients and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to empower patients and foster community support around common mental health issues.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment strategy for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services promptly and effectively for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and help them navigate community resources available to support their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in line with all applicable legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including a range of age groups and backgrounds, all of whom present unique psychological challenges. Your expertise will contribute to tackling issues such as anxiety, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
