This full-time position, based remotely and supporting our Community Health Clinic in Aurora, Illinois, will focus on assisting individuals grappling with substance use disorders. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with a diverse clientele. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values communication and cooperation. While the core working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to define client goals and specific treatment needs in the context of substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies that align with best practices.

• Deliver individual counseling sessions leveraging techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at building community support among clients, helping them share experiences and coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, as well as their families. Your role will involve assessing and addressing both the psychological and physical aspects of addiction, allowing clients to pursue a pathway to recovery that is tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Robust understanding of substance use disorders, comprehensive treatment methodologies, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical practices, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in substance use disorder treatment, crisis intervention, and group facilitation will be strongly favored. Familiarity with community resources and support systems will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, providing further incentive to join our team.
