Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at New Leaf Counseling Center, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring ethical and empathetic engagement with clients.

• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities that empower clients to overcome challenges and improve their mental health.
\n
• Design and maintain individualized treatment plans, keeping the client’s needs and goals at the forefront of all therapeutic practices.

• Facilitate discussions that help clients gain insights into their feelings and relationships, fostering deeper understanding and personal growth.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to ensure effective coping strategies are developed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present a wide variety of mental health challenges. Your role will involve guiding these individuals toward improved quality of life through targeted treatment strategies, all while building a strong rapport and trust as their therapist.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Hold one of the following licenses to practice independently, without supervision: LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
\n
• No provisional or limited licenses are accepted; candidates must be fully licensed and free of any disciplinary actions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a persistent commitment to clients’ welfare and mental health.

• Strong proficiency in computer systems and virtual therapy platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in providing teletherapy or working with low-acuity adult populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will also enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
