Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments when working with clients to understand their mental and emotional needs, developing Initial Evaluation reports that guide treatment direction.

  Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessments and collaborate closely with clients to ensure their goals are addressed effectively.

  Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients facing a range of challenges—from anxiety and depression to relationship issues—while employing various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies.

  Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and intimacy, assisting clients in resolving conflicts and enhancing relationship satisfaction.

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

  Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, ensuring all patient needs are met.

  Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, employing evidence-based de-escalation techniques when necessary.

  Stay current with developments in the field of marriage and family therapy to continually enhance treatment methodologies, incorporating innovative practices into your sessions.

  Participate in regular case consultations with your peers and attend ongoing training to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our Counseling Center serves a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various age groups and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

  Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the State Board of Florida is required.

  Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in therapeutic practice, with a proven ability to provide individual and/or couples therapy.

  Demonstrated skills in conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy across different platforms.

  Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with both clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
