Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing pertinent history information, assessments, and creating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Communicate openly with patients and their families about evaluation findings, treatment options, and engage them in the goal-setting process for their recovery.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adjusting them as necessary to match the patient's evolving health status and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, documenting any changes in the patient's condition and making revisions to the plan of care accordingly.
• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring a seamless transition to post-rehabilitation care, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation throughout the patient's journey.
• Maintain effective time management skills, meet productivity expectations, and contribute to departmental goals and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in continuing education activities and serve as a clinical instructor to students, promoting professional growth within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will address a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders requiring specialized care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Valid state license as required for practice in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
