Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and improving functional mobility for orthopedic patients.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants in executing treatment protocols effectively to enhance patient outcomes.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional capabilities using diagnostic tests, including assessments of strength, flexibility, and joint mobility.
• Assess the rehabilitation needs within patients' home environments and provide actionable recommendations to enhance their independence and quality of life.
• Deliver physical therapy services as directed by prescribing physicians, ensuring compliance with established care protocols and best practices.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and document any changes in their condition or response to therapy, communicating these insights to referring physicians and case managers.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care plans and contribute to evaluating the effectiveness of treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families on effective management of their conditions and proper utilization of assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge instructions, in line with industry regulations and company standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Triumph and Wellness, you will primarily focus on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. This includes individuals of various ages and backgrounds, requiring a tailored approach to each treatment plan to effectively address their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in physical therapy, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation or related settings.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in New Jersey, with a commitment to maintaining good standing.
• CPR certification is essential and must be kept current.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are necessary for travel to and from patient appointments as needed.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting, specifically dealing with orthopedic patients, is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
