Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which features advanced therapeutic equipment and a supportive environment designed for patient-focused recovery. You will be part of a collaborative team consisting of fellow physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, working closely together to provide coordinated care that caters to each patient's unique needs. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for consistent patient interaction and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient goals and requirements during initial evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, ensuring one-on-one attention with an average of one patient per hour for comprehensive care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy to deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that emphasize functional improvements while reducing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Motivate and educate patients on their ongoing treatment regimen, fostering a culture of self-management and healthy living.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and holistic care across different domains of the patient's health.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, maintaining clear and accurate records of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients experiencing orthopedic issues. You will work with individuals ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to seniors managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• An immaculate professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license is crucial.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and the implementation of exercise protocols is highly desired.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, will streamline documentation and patient care management.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is required, candidates with additional expertise in specific therapeutic modalities or advanced certifications will be considered favorably.
