Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, providing home care to patients within the East Brunswick area. Working in patients' homes allows for tailored therapy sessions that consider individual lifestyles and environmental factors that influence recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement personalized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring that the care aligns with physician plans.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions that address various orthopedic conditions, enhancing patient mobility and function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes, leveraging research-driven methods in every interaction.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and contribute to a cohesive team atmosphere that prioritizes patient satisfaction and engagement.
• Provide skilled intervention using specialized procedures and techniques tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on functional goals outlined by their healthcare providers.
• Consult with, educate, and train patients and their caregivers, focusing on recovery processes and self-management strategies.
• Meet established utilization goals and adapt business objectives to maintain the highest standard of care and operational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and rehabilitation needs. You will also have the opportunity to treat individuals across various age groups, including children and adults, ensuring a comprehensive approach tailored to their specific physical challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy for New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally with a focus in orthopedics.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for building patient rapport and educating caregivers.
• Proficiency in computer applications and documentation is necessary for maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to clinical efficiency.
