Work Environment

This position is primarily based in the patient's home, allowing for a personalized treatment experience. The schedule is set for Monday through Friday, facilitating a 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by their physicians through comprehensive assessments to identify physical therapy needs.
• Develop customized treatment programs that align with the physician's plan of care, ensuring a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each patient's needs, measuring progress and adapting the plan as required.
• Provide patient education and training for patients and their caregivers, empowering them to understand their conditions and participate actively in the healing process.
• Foster a compassionate and effective therapeutic relationship with each patient to motivate them towards achieving their functional goals.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, discussing progress and treatment strategies in regular meetings.
• Document patient progress and treatment modifications meticulously using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Meet company utilization targets and contribute effectively to the overall success of the practice by enhancing patient satisfaction and retention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients of all ages recover and regain their mobility, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, allowing for practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective patient interactions.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and communication.
• A passion for building positive relationships with patients and a genuine desire to facilitate their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to enhance patient care delivery.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
