Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by their physicians, adapting strategies based on initial assessments.
• Utilize various physical therapy modalities and interventions specific to patient needs, focusing on mobility improvement and pain management.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment goals and home exercise programs, ensuring they understand the importance of compliance and proper technique.
• Track patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to maximize patient care and functional outcomes.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with patients and creating welcoming treatment experiences.
• Meet or exceed utilization goals and other business performance metrics to support organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current State License as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist.
• Current certification in CPR is mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient engagement and teamwork.
• Strong computer and word processing skills are needed to manage patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health settings or outpatient environments is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems can enhance efficiency in documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
