Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate advanced therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and state-of-the-art modalities.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, webinars, and relevant training to stay informed on the latest advances in orthopedics and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will cater primarily to adult and elderly patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse client base requires a nuanced understanding of various orthopedic issues, making it essential for you to be adept at modifying treatment approaches based on individual patient needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• At least three years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment techniques, such as dry needling or aquatic therapy, is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or wellness programs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
