The Production Leader-2nd shift is responsible for managing and supervising a team of 10-20 individuals in a manufacturing environment focused on automated systems. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role ensures efficient production scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance during the second shift. The Production Leader also coordinates equipment usage, drives process improvements, and provides training to maintain high operational standards without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage shift operations and ensure production goals are met
- Supervise and support a team of 10-20 production employees
- Schedule production activities to optimize automated manufacturing systems
- Enforce strict quality assurance and safety protocols
- Provide training and development to team members
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Coordinate equipment usage and maintenance activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in a production leadership role
