About the Position

A respected healthcare organization in Ohio is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to provide specialized care for patients with digestive system disorders. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy , as well as developing individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic digestive conditions.

The Gastroenterologist will also provide both consultation services and outpatient care , helping patients manage conditions such as GERD, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disease, and pancreatitis. Collaboration with surgical teams and other specialists will be essential to ensure coordinated care for patients requiring advanced treatment or surgical intervention.

Qualification

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Experience diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and digestive disorders
• Proficiency in performing colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other GI procedures
• Ability to manage conditions such as GERD, IBS, liver disease, and pancreatitis
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
