As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notification protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor and control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
