Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $22-$23 per hour Location: Gilroy, CA Experience: At least 1 year of industry experience

We are excited to share a new opportunity for an Equipment Operator located in Gilroy! This position is highly sought after and might not be available for long.

Equipment Operator Job Duties include:

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain concrete handling (Rekers) equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect the quality of products according to established standards and adjust equipment settings as necessary to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshooting & Reporting: Detect and report any equipment malfunctions, operational issues, or product quality concerns immediately to the Plant Supervisor.
• Production Flow: Assist in maintaining an accurate production flow and reporting system.
• Setup & Cleanup: Perform necessary machine clean-up, set-up, and functional adjustments associated with product changes.
• Operational Execution: Execute Daily and Business fundamentals as required by the plant management team.
• Cross-Training: Be willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator.

Equipment Operator Preferred Skills include:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Equipment Operator Requirements may include:

• At least 2 years of experience operating similar industrial equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Communication & Comprehension: Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating, and maintenance instructions.
• Physical & Environmental Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform job tasks that include extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to work both inside and outside, and perform tasks while using fall protection equipment.
• Able to perform job tasks in challenging working conditions, including areas that are dusty, hot, and/or cold.
• Safety Equipment: Must wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including earplugs, a hard hat, and protective glasses. Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in the Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must provide 3 professional references.
