Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in work location while ensuring that you still receive the support needed from our multidisciplinary team. There is also an option for occasional in-person meetings at our outpatient office in Macon. We operate Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend hours, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment for our staff. Our team is composed of various healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, all working synergistically to deliver holistic care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client meetings to assess their goals and preferences, laying the foundation for individualized rehabilitation plans.

• Design and implement rehabilitation strategies tailored to each client’s education level, abilities, and career aspirations, adapting plans as needed based on client progress.

• Collaborate with a range of medical and mental health professionals to develop and execute comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to clients’ specific needs.
\n
• Maintain meticulous case files and records that document clients' personal information, service interactions, eligibility, insurance, and treatment plans.
\n
• Regularly evaluate and document client progress, utilizing this information to inform necessary adjustments to goals and treatment approaches.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and communication with clients as they participate in job training and occupational placement programs, addressing any emerging challenges proactively.
\n
• Engage with clients’ support networks, including family and friends, to enhance the effectiveness of care and ensure comprehensive support.

• Analyze client needs and generate timely reports, making recommendations and referrals to various resources as appropriate.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly in residential or outpatient settings, working with populations experiencing mood and mental health disorders.

• A collaborative mindset and team-oriented attitude, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of clients.

• Proficient clinical skills in modalities like motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
