Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing genuine rapport and fostering trustful relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with each client.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, measuring client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.

• Engage in ongoing individual supervision and professional coaching to enhance skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, exchanging insights and strategies to cultivate comprehensive care for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a varied patient demographic, providing support to individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clients come from different backgrounds and situations, and your role will be to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs, thereby fostering recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working in an outpatient setting post-graduation.

• Demonstrated strong critical thinking, and exceptional communication and listening skills are imperative for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
