Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bison Diagnostic and Counseling Center, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients with varying needs, establishing rapport, and developing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethical guidelines.

• Conducting regular sessions to monitor client progress, discussing treatment efficacy, and determining readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Creating, implementing, and revising individualized person-centered treatment plans, ensuring that they align with each client's unique goals and circumstances.

• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client, utilizing our electronic records system to track treatment history and outcomes.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate initial treatment strategies.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
\n
• Collaborating with fellow healthcare providers and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
\n
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in using computers, including email, spreadsheets, and electronic record management systems such as PIMSY.
\n
• Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a strong ability to conduct intake assessments.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have a robust background in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and previous experience in a telehealth environment. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities relevant to treating a wide array of mental health concerns will be advantageous.
