Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation agrees with current patient care protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic support and comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Unity Point, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma, and family issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Virginia is essential.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is necessary to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
