Plant Manager – Lubrizol Corporation, Louisville, KY Lubrizol is a leading specialty chemistry company focused on innovation that enhances everyday life, mobility, and sustainability. The Plant Manager will lead the Louisville manufacturing facility for TempRite and Vycar products, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost control, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead a culture where safety is a core value, modeling and coaching appropriate behaviors. Provide leadership for operational excellence programs, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action. Manage and lead the site central functions, including safety, quality, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, maintenance, capital engineering, and finance. Collaborate closely with Corporate Leadership for the TempRite and Vycar functions. Promote a plant culture that is responsive to the manufacturing environment and business needs through teamwork and personal accountability. Oversee talent management and employee development and foster constructive employee relations. Ensure site compliance with all regulatory requirements. Align plant goals with business strategies. Work closely with business leadership, marketing, sales, and process technology teams to support new product development, scale‑up, and product transfers. Ensure both plant and Lubrizol systems/standards are followed and improved. Required Qualifications BS degree in engineering or a related discipline. 12+ years of chemical manufacturing experience. 8+ years of experience managing teams. Process Safety Management (PSM) experience. Ability to make decisions with ambiguity or incomplete information. Experience presenting technical information to diverse audiences. Work Environment Lab or manufacturing setting with appropriate PPE provided. Use of computers and digital tools in an office or hybrid environment. Occasional lifting or movement of materials.
