Government Fleet Sales Manager Northwest Region

The Government Fleet Regional Sales Manager (GOV) is a revenue-generating sales position responsible for the direct sales of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles to dealers and government entities. The role focuses on maximizing sales and revenue with existing government customers while developing new business with prospective accounts. Responsibilities The GOV develops and implements sales strategies to support established targets in the region. Duties include maintaining and building volume with existing government customers, developing strategies to conquer new accounts, implementing consistent prospecting methods, and providing solutions to overcome customer objections. The manager supports customer order-to-delivery processes, assists with cost‑control initiatives (TCO), and furnishes timely updates on Stellantis programs such as ordering/production schedules, incentives, and Service Net. In addition, the GOV works closely with dealers to secure dealership commitments, demonstrate government sales opportunities across all departments, and act as a liaison to support both dealers and government customers. Responsibilities also encompass consulting on dealership inventory, training and supporting the dealership’s government fleet account department, and cultivating relationships with government fleet management representatives, upfitters, and dealerships. The GOV plans local events to promote product awareness, generates accurate monthly production forecasts, supports local government sales initiatives, promotes dealership fiscal responsibility, holds regular dealer meetings, and conducts audits to ensure correct reporting of government fleet sales. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Required 5+ years of experience in automotive fleet sales or automotive B2B Knowledge or experience with dealership commercial or government fleet sales processes Commercial or Government fleet vehicle product knowledge Self‑motivated with demonstrated ability to overcome market challenges and exceed goals under minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously New business development experience Excel in building positive working relationships Strong negotiating skills Must live in or be willing to relocate to Northwest Region (CA - Northern, ID, OR or WA) Willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time Preferred Qualifications OEM field sales experience Experience/relationship/understanding of commercial and government fleet equipment upfitters At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
