Job Description

Step into an engaging school-based setting near Baton Rouge, providing pediatric speech-language therapy services where you can positively impact students’ lives. As a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist, you'll work with a welcoming interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping children achieve their communication goals. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Either Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Experience or strong interest working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative spirit
  • Ability to adapt to individual student needs and varied school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct therapy, conduct screenings, and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student growth
  • Participate in team meetings and related school activities as needed
